It's summer for God's sake! Go fishing, go camping, TAKE A HIKE!!, go climb the Rainy Butte. Join the Hevalock Motorcycle Club. Rides every weekend.

Fishing Report
Fishing season is 'tits' right now. It's also a good time to get your pole wet (see indoor recreation, it's fun outside too, just don't get caught) or do some fishing!

3rd Annual Cannonball fishing contest.
Something for everyone. June 10, 11, and 12. 2005 Fishing contest for the Kids - Sunday June 12th. Free Prizes!
Schedule of events: June 10th. 8:00 AM breakfast One of the local favorites. Fresh oysters on the half shell and a pint of fresh microbrewery beer. We also serve bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Held at the Cannonball State Park.
10:00 AM registration. Held at the Cannonball State Park. Free beer tasting for those who register.
12:00 Noon Lunch. Rocky mountain oyster fry. If you don't know what they are you must be from the city. You can email us and ask. To contact us I will give you a hint. They come the best part of the bull. Beer will be served with the meal.
2:00 PM Beer drinking contest. $10.00 lets you drink all the beer you can, for the whole day!. If you want to go for a personal best you must prove you have a designated driver. We will have a bus that will leave Havelock Sportsman Inn at 7:00 AM each morning and go back to town when we are done each night. It may stop on the way home so everyone can take a piss. We don't want to make the same mistake as last year. They never did get that smell out of the bus. We couldn't use it as a school bus after that.
4:00 PM. Practice round of fishing. From the shore only. No boats allowed. Boats will be allowed tomorrow before the beer drinking contest. We don't want a repeat of last year.
6:00 PM Dinner is served. Havelock Angus Associations steak fry. Angus steak, corn on the cob, potatoes salad, and baked beans. Beer will be served.
8:00 PM Dance and annual keg party.
Midnight: Bus returns to Havelock.

June 11. Serious fishing.

Hunting Report Hunting season is finished until fall, unless you have a coyote getting your livestock. Or see a skunk, racoon, or fox running around. We have too many of them in the area so if you see one please shoot them. We will make the animal right groups out east a deal: they let us shoot our preditors and we will let them poison their rats in their sewers.
